Dear Mike and France,
I have reached Goleta in California. Here I can rest for several days with very generous hosts. The bike also needs a thorough service and my blog needs to be brought up to speed. I hope that the US election does not cast a shadow on my trip and that I can continue my journey in a peaceful country in a few days. Anything else would really be a shame.
